Breaking My Heart

If I was cold as weather in winter,
As hard as a bar of steel,
Then I wouldn’t have to feel a thing,
Like this throbbing fresh sting,
In my heart hurting so badly I cry,
Healing is a tricky process but I try,
To walk around with my head held high pretending nothing is wrong,
Thumbing my chest fast telling myself I am strong,

In this life I have lived so far,
I agree it’s mostly the innocent who suffer,
For I gave you my whole heart and soul,
Did almost anything just to please you,
Even set to give up eternity just to be with you a while,
Yet to you it was just a silly game and I only a guinea pig,
As soon as it was over you took a shovel to dig,
My own grave and burry me alive,
